Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Parker Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Handy Fauxture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fauxture stalks Griffin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Griffin's face. Griffin staggers backwards, shaken.
Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Fauxture bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Handy Fauxture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin cracks a nice hook into Fauxture's ribs.
Fauxture tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Griffin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Griffin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fauxtures jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A decent looking cross lands there for Griffin.
Fauxture fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fauxture tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Griffin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fauxture looks to score with a jab to the body but Griffin is just out of range.

Fauxture displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Griffin throws out the jab.
Griffin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fauxture.
Fauxture ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Griffin moves away.

Fauxture looks to land a combination. Griffin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Griffin is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fauxture closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Griffin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fauxture on the side of the head.
Fauxture tries to clinch but Griffin is having none of it.

Fauxture is rocked!
BAM! Griffin delivers a spinning backfist that drops Fauxture like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
