Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - What. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lee's choice of entrance music: On To The Next One. Quentin Cane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Barney Lee's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quentin Cane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barney Lee! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lee on the side of the head. Cane takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses. Cane cracks a nice hook into Lee's ribs. Cane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards. Cane misses with a double jab.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Cane throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee. Cane swings and misses with a shot to the body and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cane tests Lee's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lee throws a looping overhand right but Cane ducks down to avoid it. A shot to the liver by Cane. Beautiful body shot. Lee on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lee did well to prevent Cane getting side control.
Lee is rocked! Cane missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Well, if Cane is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Cane wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position. Cane missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cane performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lee is trying to control but Cane passes into side control!
Cane throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Cane staying calm. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cane lands an elbow. Lee tries to bench press Cane off him but Cane keeps the position. Cane tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cane has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cane tries to score with some ground and pound. Lee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Lee struggling a bit here. Cane wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Check out the look on Cane's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quentin Cane dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.

Cane throws a poor cross that misses
letting Lee counter with a right hand. Cane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cane takes a body punch but keeps moving. Cane jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cane throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee has time to react. Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lee tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cane's elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! A short left from Lee. A head punch on the inside from Lee fails to land. Lee lands with a right to the head. Cane is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Cane manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee scores with a nice head shot. Cane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lee misses with a straight right. Barney Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A big left from Cane misses. A lazy left from Cane finds it's target. Cane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice uppercut lands for Lee. That snapped Cane's head back.
Quentin Cane is winning the standup battle so far. Cane cracks Lee with a right hand to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee counters with a left to the body. Cane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it. Cane falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Cane is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cane. Lee misses with a straight right. Lee fails in his attempt to clinch. Cane listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Cane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Quentin Cane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Cane prevents Lee from getting back to his feet. Cane controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cane scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee kicks Cane off and gets to his feet. Cane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Cane loads up on a big right hand but Lee slips the punch. Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cane shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Cane to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cane working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lee's head. Lee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Cane trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cane seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lee wants to sweep here but Cane controlling him for the moment. Cane postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cane trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
We're going to have a standup here because Quentin Cane wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cane throws a jab when Lee was well out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cane throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cane scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Lee walks into a left hand. Lee moves in looking to clinch but Cane pushes him off. Cane fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cane is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cane.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee staying out of range there. Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lee listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Oh Cane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lee fakes the body blow, causing Cane to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cane goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
