Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Boy Bernie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marks comes to the ring accompanied by "The Way You Like It" by Adema. The key to victory for Derek Marks has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Marks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bad Boy Bernie! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marks tries to clinch up. Bernie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Marks pushes Bernie up against the ropes in a clinch. Marks gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Bernie gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Marks.
Marks lands an elbow that stopped Bernie in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Bad Boy Bernie has been cut. Marks lands an elbow just above Bernie 's eye. Bernie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Marks manages to pull guard.
Bernie wants to pass the guard but Marks is keeping the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Marks is wriggling around but Bernie manages to pass to half guard.
Marks is trying to stand up here but Bernie is controlling him well. Marks flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marks. Marks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bernie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Marks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bernie is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bernie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Marks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bernie is controlling him. Bernie trying to control the position from guard on top but Marks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Marks is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derek Marks dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bad Boy Bernie's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Marks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bernie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bernie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Marks tries to clinch there but Bernie circles away.
Marks stuffs the takedown attempt from Bernie. Bernie gets slowly back to his feet. Bernie swats away the attempt to clinch by Marks. Derek Marks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marks plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Marks tries to clinch up but Bernie circles away and keeps his distance. Marks tries to close the distance and clinch but Bernie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bernie swats him away and circles back towards the center. Marks wants to clinch up but Bernie keeps it at a distance. Bernie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marks tries to clinch but Bernie moves out of range. Marks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bernie tries to keep at a distance but Marks has taken the fight into the clinch. Marks lands a damaging elbow. Bernie is breathing heavily. Bernie is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Marks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Marks pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bernie stands and steps away. Marks gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bernie rushes Marks and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Bernie is trying to break free. Marks lands a damaging elbow. Bernie on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Marks unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bernie lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Bernie has had enough of the clinch but Marks keeps him there for the moment. Marks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bernie has him pressed against the ropes. Marks lands an elbow just above Bernie 's eye. Bernie is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Marks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Derek Marks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bad Boy Bernie. A short right from Marks. Bernie takes an elbow to the temple. Marks is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bernie is keeping busy. Bernie manages to pull guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Marks wants to stand but Bernie is controlling his posture from full guard. Bernie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marks manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bernie slips nicely into half guard. Marks is trying to stand up here but Bernie is controlling him well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bernie connects with a nice short shot to Marks's temple. Bernie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Marks pushes Bernie off looking to stand but Bernie dives back in and keeps control.

Bernie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Bad Boy Bernie will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Bad Boy Bernie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Marks tries to clinch but Bernie moves away so Bernie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bernie decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Marks tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bernie counters with a single leg into guard. Marks didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bernie sitting in guard here, content to control. Bernie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marks is keeping the position for now. Bernie trying to control the position from guard on top but Marks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bernie passes Marks's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks is trying to escape back to his feet but Bernie uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Marks is looking for a sweep. Bernie stands up. Marks wants to clinch but Bernie slips to the side and Bernie counters by clinching up. A short uppercut from Marks. Bernie avoiding damage as Marks throws knees to the body.
Bernie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marks moves in looking to clinch but Bernie pushes him off. Bernie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bernie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bernie trying to control from half guard but Marks is working away. Bernie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Marks wants to improve his position but Bernie is controlling well.
Bernie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marks trying to control but Bernie postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Bad Boy Bernie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bernie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
