Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slide's entrance music is Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marcos Aurelio was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Aurelio counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Slide thows a body shot but no joy.
Kimbo Slide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slide shoots in for a double leg but Aurelio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Aurelio drives through and clinches with Slide against the cage.
Aurelio misses with a punch to the body.
Aurelio lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Slide jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Aurelio walks away with a smile on his face. Slide gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Slide. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slide fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Aurelio pushes Slide up against the cage in a clinch.
Aurelio digs a right hand into Slide's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slide's gas tank.
Slide is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Aurelio to keep the fight standing.

Aurelio lands a big knee! That's hurt Slide! Oh, he's all over the place! Aurelio lands another knee that sends Slide to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
