Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rex Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rex Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Escobar! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Escobar circles away. Good exchange - Escobar coming out on top. Escobar clobbers Fisher with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Escobar scores with a decent looking hook. Nice takedown defense from Escobar. No joy for Fisher on that attempt. Jab from Escobar. Escobar misses with a straight left. Escobar connects with a body shot. Fisher shoots for a double leg takedown but Escobar sprawls well. He's pushed Fisher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rex Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Escobar lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher shoots and misses and Escobar counters with a straight right hand. Pablo Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Escobar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fisher on the side of the head. Jab by Escobar. Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown but Escobar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fisher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Good standup being displayed there by Escobar as he connects with a hook. Fisher gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Escobar clobbers Fisher with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fisher cracks Escobar with an open hand slap. Escobar misses with a hook. Escobar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fisher misses with a takedown attempt and Escobar counters with a left to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Escobar lands with an uppercut that bounces Fisher off the cage and back into range. Escobar scores with a hook. Escobar with a nice cross. Escobar connects with a jab. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fisher. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Fisher fails with an attempt to clinch.
Escobar connects with a single shot there. The crowd cheers as Escobar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fisher doesn't seem phased though. Escobar is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fisher had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Fisher on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Escobar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fisher misses with a takedown and Escobar counters with a nice uppercut. Escobar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This has been an exciting period of action! Escobar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fisher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Escobar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Escobar might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fisher on the wrong end of a nice hook. Escobar connects with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Escobar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fisher looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Escobar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fisher is rocked! Good standup being displayed there by Escobar as he connects with a hook. Oh Fisher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Escobar drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Fisher right on the button. Fisher goes down! Escobar follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Escobar gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablo Escobar! Pablo Escobar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
