Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Rourke!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazquez thows a body shot but no joy.
Vazquez wants to clinch but Rourke slips to the side
and Rourke counters with a shoot takedown. Vazquez fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rourke trying to control the position from guard on top but Vazquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rourke gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Vazquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rourke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vazquez looks to land a right hand but Rourke moved out of range.
Rourke shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vazquez is trying to defend but Rourke finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rourke is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Rourke tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Rourke has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vazquez's face.
