Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nahka Vitonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitonen comes to the cage accompanied by Klamydia - Junttihinttirunkkari. Mir has chosen Spoilin For A Fight as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nahka Vitonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Mir! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vitonen connects with a body shot. Vitonen throws a jab when Mir was well out of range. Vitonen with a hook.
It looks like Frank Mir has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mir swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nahka Vitonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mir defending well as Vitonen loads up on a big left hand. Mir throws a right and a left that Vitonen avoids nicely. A big left from Vitonen misses. Mir uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vitonen. Vitonen misses the shot to the body. Vitonen scores with a decent looking hook. Mir looks for a takedown but Vitonen sprawls well. Mir on the wrong end of a nice hook. Mir looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mir is fighting to break Vitonen's control of his arms but Vitonen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vitonen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mir! Vitonen is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Mir is in real trouble.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Good control from Vitonen. Mir trying to control the action but Vitonen just sinks the hooks in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir rolls, trying to escape but Vitonen keeps control of the position.
Mir is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Vitonen struggling to keep hold of the position.
Mir manages to reverse the position and now he's in Vitonen's guard. Nice work there by Mir.
Vitonen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mir on the ground. Mir throws and elbow that misses. Vitonen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mir's guard. Nice move by Vitonen! Vitonen showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vitonen trying to control the position from guard on top but Mir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vitonen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mir swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vitonen preventing the sweep. Vitonen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mir has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vitonen has managed to get both his arms back between Mir's legs - danger averted. Mir looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Vitonen passes into side control.
Vitonen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Vitonen feints and then cracks Mir's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mir down. Vitonen misses the jab. Nice body punch from Vitonen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vitonen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That has opened up Frank Mir's cut even more. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vitonen digs a good hook to Mir's body.
Mir looks gassed! Vitonen scores with a decent looking hook. Vitonen throws a shot to the body.
Oooooh!!! Vitonen has knocked Mir down with a huge combo! Vitonen steps away and waves a wobbly Mir back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The cut above Frank Mir's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Mir moves out of range of the strikes. Vitonen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mir. Vitonen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Frank Mir's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Mir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
