Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Colby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Kingsbury!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colby throws a big shot that misses.
Colby rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kingsbury counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Colby blocks a jab.
Kingsbury swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Colby counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nice defenses there by Colby.
Colby throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kingsbury.
Colby lands an overhand right.
It looks like Kyle Kingsbury has been cut.
Colby misses the shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Colby. Kingsbury does a little dance to reset his feet.

Colby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kingsbury circles away quickly and effectively.
Colby looks to score with a jab to the body but Kingsbury is just out of range.
Colby throws a lazy uppercut
and Kingsbury counters with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kingsbury lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Colby circles away quickly and effectively.
Kingsbury will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kingsbury ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kingsbury takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kingsbury takes one on the button.
Colby lands with a nice body punch.
Colby throws a big shot that misses.
Colby is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Kingsbury like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Kingsbury from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren Colby!
Darren Colby was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
