Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agung Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Bulger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Joseph Bulger enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Agung Kang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Bulger! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang drives through with a takedown into guard. Kang trying to control but Bulger is working from the bottom. Kang throwing strikes from guard but Bulger blocks nicely. Kang trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bulger can do anything to dispel that myth. Kang postures up.
Kang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kang throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang throwing strikes from guard but Bulger blocks nicely. Kang is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bulger is keeping the position for now. Kang postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bulger is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kang, into his guard. Kang looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bulger is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kang looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kang has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bulger tries to hold on but Kang pushes him away. Kang looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kang looking to finish with strikes here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bulger is looking to escape. Kang jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bulger manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kang trying to control the position but Bulger is working away. Kang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bulger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bulger avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kang. Bulger tries to buck Kang off but Kang is having none of it. Kang throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Kang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bulger keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kang tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kang has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kang wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bulger, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agung Kang dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bulger stuffs the takedown attempt from Kang. Kang gets slowly back to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Bulger as Kang shoots in. Bulger defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kang. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Agung Kang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kang shoots for a double leg takedown but Bulger sprawls well. He's pushed Kang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kang shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bulger napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kang looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bulger manages to get back to half guard. Bulger is trying is best to control the position here. Kang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bulger's head. Bulger moves into full guard.
Kang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bulger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kang won't allow Bulger to sweep him here. Bulger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kang. Bulger wants to stand but Kang is controlling the position. Bulger can't keep his opponent in guard - Kang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulger is trying to get back to full guard. Kang is looking to take a break and control but Bulger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bulger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Still in half guard, Kang seems content to control. Kang is trying to control the action in half guard but Bulger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kang not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kang throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang throwing shots but Bulger is blocking nicely. Kang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bulger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kang. Bulger is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kang's back! Kang rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kang tries to get to full guard but Bulger has control of the leg. Bulger is looking to take a break and control but Kang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kang avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bulger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang is looking to control Bulger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kang avoid being mounted? Kang is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Kang is refusing to be controlled, as Bulger sits in half guard. Kang is looking to improve his position.
Kang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bulger working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kang wants to control but Bulger is keeping busy.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bulger is trying to control. Kang wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agung Kang dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Kang shoots in and gets a takedown into Bulger's guard. Kang postures up in Bulger's guard and throws a big left but Bulger blocks it. Kang loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kang advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kang tries to score with some ground and pound. Bulger controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Kang misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kang is looking to take a break and control but Bulger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bulger can't do much from the bottom here. Kang is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bulger has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bulger regains half guard. Bulger is trying to get back to full guard. Kang is trying to control the action in half guard but Bulger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Joseph Bulger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kang has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bulger defend it? Kang steps over the head and cranks it - Bulger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kang!
