Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boyer Nickelsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Babidiah Bogustus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyer Nickelsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bogustus gets caught flat footed, as Nickelsen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bogustus is looking for a triangle but Nickelsen pushes his legs off easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nickelsen looks for a takedown but Bogustus sprawls well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bogustus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nickelsen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nickelsen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Bogustus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nickelsen's guard.

Bogustus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Boyer Nickelsen will probably get the nod.

and Nickelsen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bogustus's guard.
Nickelsen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bogustus has his foot on Nickelsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nickelsen works his way back into a safe position though.

Nickelsen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bogustus has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nickelsen is looking to defend but Bogustus has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nickelsen! Bogustus pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nickelsen taps out and this one is all over!
