I think Asadov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Arzuman Entrance Song. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asadov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Munoz to the ground. Asadov is now in Munoz's guard.

Asadov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Munoz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Munoz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Munoz!
Asadov is looking to reverse the position.
Asadov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Asadov tries to get out of the position.
Asadov is working hard here to advance position.
An elbow from Munoz crashes against the mat.
Munoz cracks Asadov with a big right hand but Asadov just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Asadov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Munoz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Munoz wants to control for a moment but Asadov uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Munoz is looking to take a break and control but Asadov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Munoz is stalling here. Asadov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Munoz seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Asadov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Asadov is working to tighten is grip on Munoz's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Munoz has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Asadov is really squeezing tight and eventually Munoz passes out! Asadov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Arzuman Asadov!
