Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McAnespie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
McAnespie's corner is telling him to maintain position.
McAnespie stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Banan has a takedown stuffed.
McAnespie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McAnespie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Banan, who protects the arm well.
Banan is trying to get back to half guard.

McAnespie content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
McAnespie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Banan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McAnespie holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Donal McAnespie.
McAnespie has closed the distance and engaged Banan in a clinch.

McAnespie has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Banan is trying to keep an underhook but McAnespie manages to get the takedown into half guard.
McAnespie tries to pass to full mount but Banan defends it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McAnespie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

McAnespie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Banan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Banan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Banan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McAnespie sprawls well. McAnespie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Banan gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ap Banan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McAnespie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McAnespie manages to break the clinch.

McAnespie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Banan to the ground. McAnespie is now in Banan's guard.
Banan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McAnespie defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McAnespie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McAnespie looks up at the clock and then as Banan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McAnespie smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McAnespie decides to stand back up.
Donal McAnespie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banan is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Banan enables McAnespie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Banan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
McAnespie is pushing down on Banan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Banan is fighting to maintain full guard but McAnespie has managed to sneak the leg through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donal McAnespie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Banan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Banan wriggles free and stands up.
McAnespie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Banan was covering up waiting for the punch and McAnespie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Banan looking to hit a scissor sweep but McAnespie is one step ahead there.

McAnespie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Banan is keeping the position for now.
McAnespie postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
McAnespie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McAnespie pushes down on Banan's leg and manages to get into half guard.
McAnespie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

McAnespie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Banan looks a forlorn figure.

McAnespie stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Banan has his takedown stuffed
and McAnespie counters with a crisp one two that drops Banan! McAnespie thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Banan to his feet! Banan is in big trouble!
Banan is rocked!
McAnespie misses with a series of wild punches.
Oh Banan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banan wants to stay close but McAnespie steps back to make room for something. Banan seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from McAnespie and Banan drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
