Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winnipeg Manitoba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy MacKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Winnipeg Manitoba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy MacKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKenzie throws a low kick, looking for Manitoba's leg but Manitoba calmly moves out of range.
MacKenzie misses with a low kick.
MacKenzie throws a jab when Manitoba was well out of range.
A good leg kick by MacKenzie.
Manitoba dives in and grabs MacKenzie's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacKenzie pushes down on Manitoba's head and hops out.
Manitoba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MacKenzie's waist but MacKenzie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manitoba off to one side.
Manitoba checks the leg kick.

MacKenzie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Manitoba on his heels. He'll look to pass Manitoba's guard now, I'm sure.
MacKenzie stands and throws Manitoba's legs to the side, diving into side control.

MacKenzie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Manitoba, who protects the arm well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

MacKenzie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

MacKenzie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Manitoba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Manitoba on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Manitoba tries to get out of the position.

Manitoba struggling a bit here.

MacKenzie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Manitoba tries to buck MacKenzie off but MacKenzie is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Manitoba's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

MacKenzie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

MacKenzie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no MacKenzie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MacKenzie works to advance to full mount. Manitoba defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

MacKenzie with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
MacKenzie prevents Manitoba from getting the reversal.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

MacKenzie looking for a guillotine from mount but Manitoba is having none of it.

Manitoba defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from MacKenzie.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy MacKenzie dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Manitoba shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Manitoba is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

MacKenzie has his feet on Manitoba's thighs here. He's pushed Manitoba off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Manitoba screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
