The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dervius misses with an uppercut. Ghoul saw that one coming.
Dervius lands a really nice looking cross but Ghoul seems unphased.
Ghoul takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dervius throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ghoul stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dervius.
Dervius connects with the punch.
Jack Dervius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ghoul on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dervius misses the jab.
Ghoul moves out of range as Dervius strikes.
Ghoul misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ghoul throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ghoul is breathing heavily.
Dervius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ghoul sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Ghoul checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ghoul takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ghoul is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dervius throws a hook but Ghoul avoids it easily.
Dervius throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dervius tries to work over Ghoul's front leg with a kick but Ghoul checks it.
A shot to the liver by Dervius. Beautiful body shot.
Dervius leaves Ghoul with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Good exchange - Dervius coming out on top.
Dervius lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dervius throws a good cross that connects.

Ghoul is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dervius walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ghoul drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Dervius swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ghoul's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
