Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Greatest Fighter Ever! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Jonathan! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter Ever throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jonathan stuffs the takedown. Jonathan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A solid body kick from Jonathan. Jonathan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fighter Ever pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fighter Ever looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A nice inside leg kick there by Jonathan. That's going to slow Fighter Ever down. Jonathan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fighter Ever. Fighter Ever walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jonathan. Jonathan throws a nice outside leg kick. Jonathan feints and then cracks Fighter Ever's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fighter Ever down. This has been an exciting period of action! Jonathan is looking to slow Fighter Ever down with leg kicks. Jonathan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Jonathan keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jonathan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fighter Ever has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jake Jonathan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fighter Ever takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fighter Ever closes the distance and clinches up with Jonathan, looking for a takedown. Fighter Ever pushes Jonathan against the cage but Jonathan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jonathan goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Fighter Ever shoots in looking for a takedown. Jonathan tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter Ever keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jonathan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter Ever walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jonathan. Good shot there by Jonathan. Jonathan scores with a leg kick.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head kick from Jonathan lands but Fighter Ever takes it in his stride. Fighter Ever shoots for a takedown but Jonathan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jonathan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Fighter Ever doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fighter Ever will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Jonathan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fighter Ever will feel that in the morning. Jonathan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fighter Ever has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jonathan scores with a kick to the midsection. Jonathan lands a leg kick that knocks Fighter Ever off balance momentarily. Jonathan thuds his shin into the meat of Fighter Ever's side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter Ever takes a kick to the side of the head. Jonathan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fighter Ever doesn't seem bothered though. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fighter Ever crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jonathan - the referee stops the clock and Fighter Ever gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jonathan. Fighter Ever manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jonathan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fighter Ever's sensitive parts. Jonathan throws a front kick that sends Fighter Ever stumbling back into the cage. Jonathan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Fighter Ever takes a step back to recover. Jonathan scores with a jab to the head.

Fighter Ever is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Fighter Ever is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fighter Ever misses with a takedown attempt - Jonathan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice body punch from Jonathan. Fighter Ever on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jonathan, right into the meat.
Jonathan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter Ever stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jonathan delivers a nice body kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A chopping leg kick lands by Jonathan. Jonathan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Fighter Ever takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Fighter Ever shoots in looking for a takedown but Jonathan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter Ever's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jonathan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jonathan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Jonathan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fighter Ever will feel that in the morning. Jonathan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fighter Ever back to the cage. Jonathan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter Ever looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jonathan scores with a spinning back kick! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jonathan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jonathan. Fighter Ever shrugs it off though. The Greatest Fighter Ever is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jonathan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fighter Ever might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Jonathan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Fighter Ever throws a front kick aimed at Jonathan's knee but Jonathan avoids it well. Fighter Ever misses with a looping left. Fighter Ever throws a lazy head kick enabling Jonathan to counter with a crisp jab. Jonathan scores with a jab to the body. Fighter Ever takes a shot to the body in his stride.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fighter Ever jumps guard but Jonathan stands there with Fighter Ever around his waist. Fighter Ever gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jonathan wants to stand but Fighter Ever is controlling his posture from full guard. Jake Jonathan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jake Jonathan. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jonathan, right into the meat.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter Ever doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A head kick misses from Fighter Ever. Fighter Ever shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jonathan pinned against the cage. Jonathan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jonathan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fighter Ever. Fighter Ever takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jonathan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fighter Ever. Jonathan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fighter Ever. Fighter Ever shoots in for a double leg but Jonathan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fighter Ever takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter Ever tries to clinch but Jonathan is having none of it. Jonathan connects with an inside leg kick. Jonathan throws a head kick that half lands.

Jonathan throws a leg kick which misses Fighter Ever's front leg but catches the back leg as Fighter Ever tries to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jonathan lands a leg kick that knocks Fighter Ever off balance momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jonathan lands a front kick. The Greatest Fighter Ever has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Both fighters circling a little - Jonathan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
