Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Wilhelm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilhelm has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders throws a right and a left that Wilhelm avoids nicely.
Wilhelm looks gassed!
Sanders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sanders drops Wilhelm with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilhelm looks back up at him and smiles so Sanders waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like James Wilhelm has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Sanders.
Wilhelm glances at the clock... BAM! Sanders nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Wilhelm crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Wilhelm is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Damien Sanders!
Damien Sanders decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
