Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Del Spooner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Spooner.
Spooner slaps away a takedown attempt from Leites, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Leites throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Leites walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Spooner swings for the body but Leites moves out of range.
Leites on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Spooner tries to close the distance and clinch but Leites swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Leites dives in and grabs Spooner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spooner pushes down on Leites's head and hops out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leites shoots for a double leg takedown but Spooner sprawls well. He's pushed Leites's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Del Spooner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thales Leites.
Leites showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Spooner.
Spooner closes the distance and clinches.
Spooner prevents the takedown attempt.
Spooner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spooner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spooner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Spooner is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Spooner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Leites shoots for a takedown but Spooner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Spooner lands a head shot.
Leites is rocked!
Leites is holding his hands too far apart here. Spooner throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Leites is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
