Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Sauve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Proctor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Proctor's choice of entrance music: Inside The Fire. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Sauve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikey Proctor! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Proctor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Proctor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Proctor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sauve keeping full guard, as Proctor tries to pass. Sauve wants to stand up but Proctor is controlling him. Proctor tries to free his leg and advance position but Sauve is retaining full guard. Proctor drops back looking for a leg! Sauve is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sauve manages to kick Proctor off! Proctor jumps back into Sauve's guard. Proctor wants to control from the top but Sauve keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sauve keeping full guard, as Proctor tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from Sauve does no damage. Sauve circles away from the clinch attempt.
Proctor throws a hook but Sauve blocks it. Sauve misses with a head kick.

Kyle Sauve is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sauve throws a head kick that misses. Sauve is breathing heavily. Proctor tries to clinch there but Sauve circles away.
Sauve throws a head kick but Proctor moves out of range.
Proctor darts in and clinches Sauve up against the cage. Sauve trying to stall but Proctor improves his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Proctor fails to pull guard.

Sauve using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Proctor has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Proctor tries for a takedown but Sauve manages to get underhooks.
Kyle Sauve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikey Proctor. Sauve breaks from the clinch.
Sauve throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Proctor is rocked! Sauve throws a sloppy head kick and Proctor moves out of range easily. Proctor is still on wobbly legs! Can Sauve finish him? Kyle Sauve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Proctor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sauve tries to avoid it but Proctor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sauve to the ground. Sauve escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sauve throws a series of punches but Proctor moves out of range. Sauve throws a head kick that misses. Proctor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Proctor seems to have recovered his senses. Sauve really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sauve pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sauve tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Proctor looks to land a combination but Sauve avoids it well. Proctor misses with a straight right. Proctor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sauve is fending him off so far but Proctor persists. Nope, Sauve circles away and we're back to standing. Sauve throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sauve throws a head kick that misses. Proctor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sauve bucks up and tries to throw Proctor off but instead Proctor has got his back! Proctor looking to break Sauve's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Sauve remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Proctor will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Sauve wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sauve trying to get back to his feet but Proctor is in full control for now. Proctor is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sauve with him. Sauve is trying to defend but Proctor has an arm under the chin now! Sauve grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mikey Proctor!
