We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jim misses with a body kick.
Jim dodges the punch combination from Sancho.
Jim throws a body punch but Sancho moves out of range.
Sancho throws a jab when Jim was well out of range.
Jim tries a head kick but it misses.
Sancho throws out a loose jab but Jim uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jim throws a hook to the side of Sancho's head but Sancho sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sancho manages to avoid it.
Sancho looks to score with a jab to the body but Jim is just out of range.
Sancho avoids the body shot from Jim.
Sancho ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sancho connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jim slips a straight right by Sancho.
Slim Jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sancho takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sancho looks gassed!
Jim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sancho blocks a head kick by Jim.
Jim avoids the body shot from Sancho.
Jim tries to land a front kick but Sancho steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sancho motions for Jim to come forward. Sancho throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sancho avoids the head kick by Jim.
Sancho thows a body shot but no joy.
Jim lands with a kick to the temple. Sancho shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Paco Sancho has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jim throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Sancho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jim.
Jim tests Sancho's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sancho throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sancho avoids a kick to the body.
Jim throws a push kick but Sancho slaps the foot to one side.
Jim looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Sancho uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jim.
Sancho getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sancho manages to avoid it.
Sancho throws a jab when Jim was well out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jim. That's going to slow Sancho down.
Sancho swings for the body but Jim moves out of range.
Jim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sancho was well out of range. Poor timing from Jim.

Jim throws a head kick that misses.
Jim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jim scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Sancho takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A combination from Jim does no damage.
Jim is looking to wear down Sancho with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jim connects with a body shot.
Sancho is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jim scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sancho swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A slapping leg kick lands for Jim.
Jim scores with a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slim Jim dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Paco Sancho's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jim throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jim pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sancho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jim.
Jim lands a slapping body shot.
Jim misses with a double jab
and Sancho counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jim thinking.
Sancho lands a nice shot to the body.
Slim Jim is winning the standup battle so far.
Jim scores with a sloppy right hand. Sancho should have avoided that one.
Sancho scores with a jab.
Sancho is breathing heavily.
Sancho throws out a loose jab but Jim uses good head movement to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sancho. Jim does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jim looks to throw the jab but Sancho is out of range.
Sancho walks straight into a right hand from Jim - that's dropped him! Jim jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sancho from any more punishment! Sancho complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Slim Jim!
