The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Juhana closes the distance and pushes Guida back into the cage.

Juhana pulls guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Guida landing some decent shots from guard.
Guida is working Juhana over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Guida keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Juhana's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guida pushes down on Juhana's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Guida lands a nice short elbow.
Guida lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Guida takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Guida trying to control from half guard but Juhana is working away.

Guida perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Guida is working for a kimura but Juhana is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guida is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Well, if Guida is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Guida is looking to take a break and control but Juhana is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Juhana on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Juhana is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Guida scores with a couple of nice shots.
Guida looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Juhana with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Juhana wants to improve his position but Guida is controlling well.
Guida moves into full mount! Juhana won't be happy about that!

Guida working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The referee warns Juhana that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Guida lands a big elbow.

Juhana is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Juhana is in a horrible position here. Guida smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Juhana is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Juhana is breathing heavily.
Guida landing strikes, looking to finish!
Juhana is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Guida has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Juhana's face.
Guida postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Juhana badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Guida around the waist but Guida pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Guida is the winner by TKO! Guida jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
