The crowd seem to be enjoying Villamora's choice of entrance music: Fugees - Ready Or Not. Carmen Villamora is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villamora misses with a head kick.
Villamora stuffs the takedown.
Hendricks throws a low kick but Villamora avoids it.
Villamora tries to sprawl but Hendricks drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hendricks content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Hendricks wants to free his trapped foot but Villamora is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hendricks is thwarting Villamora's attempts to control the position.
Villamora wants to control the action here but instead Hendricks manages to pass to full mount!

Johny Hendricks has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Villamora but Villamora pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No joy there for Villamora, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Villamora will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Villamora counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Villamora scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Villamora breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Villamora.
Villamora displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hendricks.
Hendricks takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Villamora's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Villamora duly obliges.
It looks like Johny Hendricks has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Villamora connects with a leg kick. Hendricks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hendricks shoots in for a double leg but Villamora sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hendricks walks forward, straight into a front kick from Villamora.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Villamora lands a leg kick that knocks Hendricks off balance momentarily.
Hendricks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Villamora displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hendricks.
Villamora throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hendricks's head.
Villamora lands a big head kick that sends Hendricks to the canvas! Villamora follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
