Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Byron Brainz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Yaquob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brainz's entrance music is Oy, To Ne Vecher (Fedor's Theme). A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brainz throws a half hearted mid kick.
Yaquob darts in trying to clinch
and Brainz counters with a big head kick but Yaquob shrugs it off.
Yaquob moves to clinch but Brainz breaks away
and Brainz counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Brainz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Yaquob.
It looks like Jamal Yaquob has been cut.
Yaquob throws a sloppy head kick
and Brainz counters with a leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brainz throws a head kick but Yaquob moves out of range.
Brainz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Yaquob's head.
Jamal Yaquob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yaquob tries to clinch but Brainz moves out of range.
Brainz circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Yaquob looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brainz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Yaquob wants to clinch
and Brainz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brainz.
Yaquob breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Byron Brainz has been cut.
Brainz throws a sloppy head kick and Yaquob moves out of range easily.
Brainz keeps the fight on the outside.
Nice defenses there by Yaquob.
Yaquob throws a head kick that misses
and Brainz makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Brainz circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Yaquob drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Brainz follows Yaquob to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Our winner, Byron Brainz, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
