Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shank Flabbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flabbott lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Billy Holmes has been cut.
No joy there for Flabbott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Flabbott drops Holmes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Holmes looks back up at him and smiles so Flabbott waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Holmes is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Holmes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flabbott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Holmes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Holmes tries for a takedown but Flabbott circles away easily
and Flabbott counters with a crisp right hand that drops Holmes! Flabbott lets Holmes back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Holmes is still on wobbly legs! Can Flabbott finish him?
Flabbott misses with a double jab
and Holmes counters with a takedown into side control.
Holmes seems to have recovered his senses.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Flabbott is not content to let Holmes control the position.
Flabbott wants to control but Holmes postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holmes in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
You can see the frustration on Flabbott's face as Holmes controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flabbott is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Holmes off and has taken his back!
Holmes avoids the strikes from Flabbott.
Flabbott scores with strikes from the back.
Flabbott controlling well, preventing Holmes from escaping the position.
Flabbott is landing with strikes. Holmes can't take much more of this.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holmes trying to control the action but Flabbott just sinks the hooks in.
Flabbott lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Holmes looks gassed!
Flabbott lands a big shot to the side of the head and Holmes goes limp! He's out cold - the ref jumps in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Shank Flabbott!
