Young throws an overhand right that lands on Volevoi's shoulder, as Volevoi tries to avoid the shot.

Young lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Volevoi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Young is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Volevoi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Nice defenses there by Volevoi.
Volevoi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Donk. Young catches Volevoi right on the button with a cross.
Volevoi drops his hands momentarily and Young takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Volevoi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Young feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Volevois jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ming Young dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Young throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
