Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Nagiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihito Tatsuhiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nagiev comes to the cage accompanied by Dmitry Nagiev - All I Promised. Tatsuhiko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Save Yourself. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dmitry Nagiev! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Akihito Tatsuhiko! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatsuhiko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nagiev. Nagiev throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nagiev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tatsuhiko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nagiev as he jumps to the side. Nagiev throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Tatsuhiko is looking to clinch but Nagiev is avoiding it.

Tatsuhiko delivers a nice body kick. Tatsuhiko tries to clinch there but Nagiev circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tatsuhiko dodges the punch combination from Nagiev.
Tatsuhiko tries to clinch up. Nagiev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nagiev throws a nice looking combination but Tatsuhiko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nagiev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tatsuhiko circles away quickly and effectively. Nagiev has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tatsuhiko. Nagiev takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatsuhiko walks into a stiff left hand from Nagiev. Tatsuhiko gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tatsuhiko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nagiev pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tatsuhiko fails to pull guard.
Dmitry Nagiev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akihito Tatsuhiko. Nagiev is looking to break free of the clinch but Tatsuhiko has double underhooks. Nagiev wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tatsuhiko has him pressed against the cage. Nagiev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nagiev!
It looks like Akihito Tatsuhiko has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nagiev lands with a big left! Tatsuhiko is wobbled badly! Nagiev comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Tatsuhiko to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dmitry Nagiev! Dmitry Nagiev retains his lightweight title! Jumping up and down and very excited, Dmitry Nagiev waved his t-shirt featuring Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire's logo in front of the cameras.
