The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller tries to bum rush Bertane with a series of wild strikes but Bertane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Miller lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Earl Bertane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bertane shoots in and drives through. Miller sprawls well.

Bertane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Miller throws a big shot that misses.
Miller scores with the left hand. Bertane knows he should have avoided that one.
Bertane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miller swivels and escapes.

Miller looks to land a combination. Bertane sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Bertane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Miller thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bertane if he has to take too many more of those.

Miller lands a glancing blow to the side of Bertane's head.
No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice uppercut lands for Miller. That snapped Bertane's head back.

Bertane avoids the body shot from Miller.
Bertane throws a wild hook but Miller just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Bertane gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Miller raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
