Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ozuma Obata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vash The Stampede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ozuma Obata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vash The Stampede!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obata leaves The Stampede with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A solid body kick from Obata.
The Stampede shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Obata keeps the fight on the outside.
The Stampede tries to close the distance and clinch but Obata swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Obata stuffs the takedown.
Ozuma Obata has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vash The Stampede.
The Stampede will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Obata, right into the meat.
Obata showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from The Stampede.

The Stampede shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The Stampede stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Obata swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Obata wants to get back to his feet but The Stampede is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The Stampede is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Obata knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Stampede on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vash The Stampede wasn't active enough on the ground.
Obata buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Stampede is looking to clinch.
The Stampede throws a series of punches but Obata moves out of range.
Donk. Obata catches The Stampede right on the button with a cross.
The Stampede is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Obata throws a series of punches but The Stampede moves out of range.
Obata cracks The Stampede with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Obata throws a series of strikes that have The Stampede backpedaling.
The Stampede misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Obata avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The Stampede scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Obata on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Obata tries to get out of the position.
Obata seems a little lost for a moment, as The Stampede dominates the positioning.
The Stampede cracks Obata with a big right hand but Obata just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The Stampede tries to score with some ground and pound. Obata controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The Stampede has an Americana. Obata didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! The Stampede is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if The Stampede hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Vash The Stampede!
Vash The Stampede made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I want to thanks my sponsors and my manager LeGoat ,he is the best manager in the game and i wouldn't be here without him .'.
