Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lerba Schmeizel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Barorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmeizel's entrance music is Hava Nagila. A fine choice. Barorf has chosen Wena - Salutuj as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karol Barorf! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barorf keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Schmeizel. Barorf delivers a nice body kick. Schmeizel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barorf.
Barorf throws a head kick but Schmeizel moves out of range.
Schmeizel pushes Barorf up against the cage in a clinch. Barorf is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Schmeizel to keep the fight standing. Schmeizel scores a nice knee to the body.
Schmeizel throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Barorf blocks it with crossed arms. The referee calls for Schmeizel to work.
Schmeizel lands an elbow that stopped Barorf in his tracks for a moment. Barorf blocks the elbow strike.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Schmeizel walks away with a smile on his face. Barorf gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lerba Schmeizel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karol Barorf. Schmeizel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barorf swats him away and circles back towards the center. Barorf thows a body shot but no joy. Barorf is looking to land body kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Barorf. Schmeizel moves out of range of the body kick. Barorf looks for the body kick but Schmeizel saw that one coming. Barorf looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Barorf bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Schmeizel tries to clinch there but Barorf circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Barorf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schmeizel sprawls well. Schmeizel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barorf gets slowly back to his feet. Barorf pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lerba Schmeizel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Barorf throws the kick towards the body but Schmeizel avoids it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Barorf swats away the attempt to clinch by Schmeizel. Barorf looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Schmeizel looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Karol Barorf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barorf stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Schmeizel gets a clinch. Barorf fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Schmeizel swings wildly with an uppercut but Barorf uses good head movement to avoid it.

Barorf gets control of Schmeizel's arms and successfully pulls guard. Barorf will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Schmeizel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barorf, up you get! Schmeizel closes the distance but Barorf moves to the side and Barorf counters with a nice body kick.
Barorf shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schmeizel as he jumps to the side. Lerba Schmeizel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karol Barorf. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barorf throws a wild body kick that Schmeizel sees coming a mile off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schmeizel darts in and clinches Barorf up against the cage. Barorf tries to pull guard but Schmeizel won't allow it.
