Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Media (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Nunez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Media! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunez shoots in but Media avoids the takedown attempt easily. Media stuffs the takedown. Nunez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Media as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Nunez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Media closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nunez circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Media looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nunez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Media, pushing him back against the cage. Media has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Nunez is trying to keep an underhook but Media manages to get the takedown into half guard. Nunez trying to control from the bottom.
Media throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Media is looking to advance position but Nunez won't allow it. Media wants to work for an arm triangle but Nunez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nunez wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Nunez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Media has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Nunez has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Media missing with punches from the back. Media tries to keep control of the position but Nunez is staying busy. Nunez tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Nunez tries to hold on but Media postures up. Nunez blocking the ground and pound. Nunez is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Media is looking to work his way around to Nunez's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Media tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Media throwing strikes here but Nunez is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

You can't force these things though and Nunez defends well. Nunez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Media on the ground. Media is trying to control the position but Nunez postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Media seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Nunez wants to control from the top but Media keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Oscar Nunez. Nunez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Media changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nunez tries to avoid it but Media manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nunez to the ground. Nunez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Media shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nunez as he jumps to the side. Nunez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Media sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nunez somewhat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nunez shoots in looking for a takedown. Media tries to sprawl out of it but Nunez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Media manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Paul Media will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Media shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Media was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nunez tries to hold on but Media postures up. Media is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nunez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nunez shrugs it off. Media takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nunez avoids a series of strikes thrown by Media.
Nunez slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Media stands up out of the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nunez tries for a takedown but Media sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Media changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Media is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Nunez still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Nunez has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Paul Media has got the better of the ground game so far. Media parries the strikes from Nunez easily there. Nunez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Media to escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nunez laying and praying for a moment but Media takes advantage and regains half guard. Media is trying is best to control the position here.

Media looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Media is breathing heavily. Nunez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Media pushes Nunez off looking to stand but Nunez dives back in and keeps control.
Media tries to get to full guard but Nunez has control of the leg. Media is not content to let Nunez control the position. Nunez wants to free his trapped foot but Media is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A close second round but Paul Media will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Media wants it to stay on the feet. Nunez dives in and grabs Media's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nunez keeps Media at a distance using the push kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nunez is defended easily by Media. Media shoots in for a takedown but Nunez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Media dives in and grabs Nunez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nunez pushes down on Media's head and hops out. Media takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Media fails with a takedown attempt. Media dodges the punch combination from Nunez.

Nunez kicks Media off and gets to his feet. Nunez shoots in for a double leg but Media sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A jab lands there for Nunez. Media throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nunez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Media is in Nunez's guard. Nunez is trying to keep Media in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nunez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Media uses it to pass to side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Media just content to control the position. Nunez gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nunez is looking to improve his position.
Nunez is staying active underneath Media, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Media passes Nunez's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Media is working for a kimura but Nunez is defending it quite comfortably.
Nunez kicks Media off and gets back to his feet. Paul Media seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Media takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oscar Nunez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Paul Media is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Media fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nunez avoids it really well and circles away.
