And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith Jr throws a nice inside leg kick.
Zangief shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith Jr defends it nicely.
Zangief misses with a takedown
and Smith Jr counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zangief thinking.
Zangief shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Smith Jr counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Zangief badly! Smith Jr follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Zangief out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Smith Jr finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lenzelle Smith Jr!
Lenzelle Smith Jr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
