5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rutger von Schnabelmonokel! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Still throws a low kick but it's checked well by von Schnabelmonokel. Still shoots in for a takedown but von Schnabelmonokel shows good takedown defense. Still shoots for a double leg takedown but von Schnabelmonokel sprawls well. He's pushed Still's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. von Schnabelmonokel gets caught flat footed, as Still shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Still trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. von Schnabelmonokel keeping moving, preventing Still from controlling successfully. Still swings around for an armbar but von Schnabelmonokel sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Still's guard. Still looking for a sweep. Not yet Still, not yet. Still manages to escape and get back to his feet.

von Schnabelmonokel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. von Schnabelmonokel would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Still scores a takedown into full mount! von Schnabelmonokel's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Still moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, von Schnabelmonokel has worked his arm free - good work by von Schnabelmonokel!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matt Still. I think von Schnabelmonokel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
