Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joonas Tuska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuska's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Diary Of A Madman by the Gravediggaz. Larry Newman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Joonas Tuska's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Larry Newman! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newman gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tuska throws an overhand right that lands on Newman's shoulder, as Newman tries to avoid the shot. Newman tries for a takedown but Tuska sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tuska circles away from the clinch attempt.
Newman tries to clinch but Tuska moves out of range. Newman shoots for a takedown but Tuska saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Tuska. That's going to slow Newman down. Newman shoots in and drives through. Tuska sprawls well. Joonas Tuska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Newman. Tuska connects with a solid leg kick. A good leg kick by Tuska. Newman tries to bum rush Tuska with a series of wild strikes but Tuska uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Newman shoots in but Tuska avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuska lands a jab to Newman's midsection. Newman sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Newman looks gassed! Newman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. No joy there for Tuska, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tuska ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Newman takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Newman is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Newman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Newman is still on wobbly legs! Can Tuska finish him? Newman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tuska's waist but Tuska gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Newman off to one side. Tuska lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Newman seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tuska moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Newman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tuska tests Newman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Tuska chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Newman looks for a takedown but Tuska sprawls well. Newman fails with the takedown. Tuska scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick lands from Tuska that sends Newman to the canvas. Newman tries to scramble back to his feet but Tuska brings him back down into side control. Newman stops Tuska from passing to mount. You can see the frustration on Newman's face as Tuska controls the position. Newman is looking to reverse the position. Tuska lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Newman down.
Newman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Tuska not doing much here.
Newman is looking to get back to full guard here but Tuska has managed to pass to side control instead. Tuska postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Newman looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuska throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Newman can't escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tuska has control of Newman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Newman regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Newman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Newman winds up and cracks Tuska with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Newman is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Newman prevents Tuska from getting the reversal. Newman looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tuska is on top in guard.
Tuska scoring with punches to the head and body. Newman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tuska is one step ahead there. Newman trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Tuska wants to control from the top but Newman keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Newman is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Newman tries to free his leg and advance position but Tuska is retaining full guard. Newman trying to control but Tuska is working from the bottom. Tuska avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Newman wants to stand but Tuska is controlling his posture from full guard. Newman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Newman wants to control from the top but Tuska keeps moving. Newman wants to get up but he can't break Tuska's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Larry Newman will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Newman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tuska but Tuska pushes him off and we're back to square one. Joonas Tuska is winning the standup battle so far. Tuska swings for the body but Newman moves out of range.

A nice leg kick lands there from Tuska. Tuska connects with a solid leg kick. Tuska scores with a jab. Newman acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Newman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuska tries to avoid it but Newman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuska to the ground. Tuska escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tuska digs a good hook to Newman's body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tuska throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Newman. Joonas Tuska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Newman. Tuska shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Horrible takedown by Newman or perhaps it was just good defense by Tuska which made him look bad. Newman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tuska. No luck for Newman with that takedown attempt. Newman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tuska as he jumps to the side. Newman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tuska to score with a decent uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A solid leg kick lands there for Tuska.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Newman. Tuska lands with a thumping leg kick.
Newman fails to land the takedown. Tuska keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Newman shoots in looking for a takedown. Tuska tries to sprawl out of it but Newman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tuska manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Newman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tuska swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tuska stuffs the takedown attempt from Newman. Newman gets slowly back to his feet. Newman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tuska circles away. Tuska lands with a kick to the temple. Newman shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tuska buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tuska. Tuska looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Tuska lands with a shot to the body. Newman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuska misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Newman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tuska swats him away and circles back towards the center. Larry Newman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Newman. Tuska falls off balance throwing a combination
and Newman counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Tuska prevents a takedown attempt there.

Newman has Tuska pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tuska manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Joonas Tuska showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tuska has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
