Said takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Sackett bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Said's head backwards.

Said takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Sackett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Said's guard now.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sackett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sackett is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Said is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Said has escaped and now he's on top!
Said wants to control from the top but Sackett keeps moving.
Said would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Said showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Said's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kareem Said wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Sackett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Said.

Said fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sackett, pushing him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nolan Sackett dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Said throws a hook but Sackett blocks it.

Sackett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Said.

Said tries to close the distance and clinch but Sackett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Sackett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Said takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Said closes the distance but Sackett moves to the side
and Sackett counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sackett cracks Said with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Said is rocked!
Sackett throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oh Said is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kareem Said is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Sackett counters with a left and a right... And another left! Said is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
