Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maxime Dubois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Kaliz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaliz has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maxime Dubois!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Igor Kaliz!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaliz tries to sprawl but Dubois drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kaliz tries to get to full guard but Dubois has control of the leg.
Dubois content to control rather than advance.
Kaliz tries to roll over but Dubois keeps him under control.
Dubois trying to mount his opponent but Kaliz defends it.
Kaliz trying to get back to full guard but Dubois takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Kaliz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kaliz is squirming around, avoiding Dubois's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dubois gets his hands free as Kaliz looks to control.
Dubois scores with punches to the body.
Dubois working for a choke but Kaliz is defending well.
Kaliz looking very determined here, making life difficult for Dubois.

Dubois has the hooks in. Kaliz is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Kaliz manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dubois's guard. Nice work there by Kaliz.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dubois is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kaliz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dubois swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kaliz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dubois dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kaliz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dubois is aware though and is defending well.
Kaliz looks gassed!
Dubois stays in close to Kaliz's body and controls the position.
Kaliz is working an open guard so Dubois takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Igor Kaliz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dubois feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kaliz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dubois doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dubois manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dubois will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kaliz is being controlled here.

Kaliz can't escape the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxime Dubois dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dubois looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dubois connects with a nice short shot to Kaliz's temple.

Maxime Dubois overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dubois works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kaliz is breathing heavily.

Dubois punches Kaliz on the ear.
Dubois looking to break Kaliz's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kaliz remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dubois will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Dubois is working the ground and pound. Can Kaliz escape?

Dubois is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Dubois seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kaliz for as long as he can get away with.
Kaliz is trying to defend against the choke here but Dubois has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Dubois Tightens the hold and Kaliz taps out furiously! Dubois displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Maxime Dubois!
