Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kazuya Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Tigulang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gary Tigulang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuya Takeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Tigulang!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeda lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Takeda thows a body kick. Tigulang tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Tigulang takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Takeda.
Takeda fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Tigulang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Takeda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Takeda throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tigulang.
Takeda lands with a kick to the ribs.
Takeda scores with a head kick. Tigulang tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Takeda misses with a series of wild punches.
A slapping body kick lands there for Takeda.
Takeda connects with a solid leg kick.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tigulang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Takeda - the referee stops the clock and Tigulang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Takeda. Tigulang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
No luck for Tigulang with that takedown attempt.
A combination from Takeda does no damage.
Takeda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takeda wants it to stay on the feet.

Takeda throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Takeda lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tigulang's sensitive parts.
Tigulang takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Tigulang drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Takeda is breathing heavily.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Takeda is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Tigulang has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Takeda!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tigulang tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Takeda.
Takeda lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tigulang misses with a takedown attempt - Takeda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takeda pushes Tigulang away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tigulang gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kazuya Takeda will probably get the nod.

Tigulang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Takeda sprawls well. Takeda wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tigulang gets slowly back to his feet.
Kazuya Takeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Tigulang or perhaps it was just good defense by Takeda which made him look bad.

Takeda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tigulang has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Tigulang shoots in looking for a takedown. Takeda tries to sprawl out of it but Tigulang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takeda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Takeda, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
