Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bengt Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by A Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Svensson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Svensson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Griffin jumps guard but Svensson stands there with Griffin around his waist. Griffin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Griffin manages to pull guard.
Griffin keeping moving, preventing Svensson from controlling successfully.
Svensson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Svensson is looking to work some ground and pound but Griffin has wrist control.
Svensson throwing strikes but missing.
Svensson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Svensson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Svensson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Svensson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Griffin lands some strikes from the bottom.

Svensson is sitting in close to Griffin's body. Griffin has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Svensson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Svensson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Griffin.
