Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Din Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cod Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Din Thomas looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Din Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cod Mckenzie! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mckenzie shoots in and drives through. Thomas sprawls well. Mckenzie takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mckenzie fails in his attempt to clinch. Mckenzie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Thomas misses with a body shot.
Mckenzie takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mckenzie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Thomas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mckenzie at a distance.
Mckenzie looks gassed! Thomas changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Thomas punishes Mckenzie's body with a nice straight punch. A shot to the liver by Thomas. Beautiful body shot. Nice uppercut lands for Thomas. That snapped Mckenzie's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckenzie walks into a left hand. Thomas lands a nice looking body shot.
Thomas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Thomas connects with a body shot. Thomas thuds a left hand into Mckenzie's body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thomas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mckenzie doesn't seem bothered though. Thomas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mckenzie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas digs a good body shot into Mckenzie's ribs. A jab from Thomas does it's job there. Nice cross by Thomas. Thomas jabs at Mckenzie's body. Thomas scores with a body shot.
Din Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thomas lands a nice looking body shot.
Good standup being displayed there by Thomas as he connects with a hook. Thomas scores with a hook to the body. Mckenzie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Thomas thuds a left hand into Mckenzie's body. Thomas throws a shot to the body.
Thomas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas thuds a left hand into Mckenzie's body. Thomas lands a slapping body shot.
Thomas takes a swing at Mckenzie's ribcage but misses. Mckenzie is looking to clinch. Thomas jabs Mckenzie to the body, keeping him at a distance. Thomas lands a slapping body shot.
Thomas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mckenzie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Thomas lands a right hook to the body.
Mckenzie takes one on the button. Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie trying to keep a closed guard but Thomas is proving a slippery customer.
Thomas slips nicely into half guard. Thomas tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mckenzie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mckenzie is looking for a sweep. Thomas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thomas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mckenzie defends it well. Mckenzie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thomas is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Din Thomas dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Thomas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Thomas scores with the left hand. Mckenzie knows he should have avoided that one. Mckenzie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Cod Mckenzie has been cut. Thomas is looking to wear down Mckenzie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Thomas scores with a punch to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thomas ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Thomas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Thomas lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Thomas lands a nice hook to Mckenzie's body. Mckenzie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Thomas works Mckenzie's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mckenzie! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mckenzie working to try and regain half guard.
Thomas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mckenzie manages to avoid the submission attempt. Thomas has hold of Mckenzie's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mckenzie seems comfortable defending it but Thomas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mckenzie is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mckenzie is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Thomas couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Din Thomas! Din Thomas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
