Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chaz Ashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Buck Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buck Jr has chosen Death of Fanucci as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashley is looking to clinch but Buck Jr is avoiding it.
Ashley tries to clinch but Buck Jr moves out of range.
Buck Jr gets tackled into the cage by Ashley. Ashley maintains the clinch.
Buck Jr is trying to pull guard but Ashley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ashley tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Ashley taking a breather.
Ashley slowing the pace effectively.
Ashley looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Ashley lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ashley is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Buck Jr blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Buck Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ashley smiles and moves away.
Ashley is looking to clinch.

Buck Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Buck Jr counters with a two punch combo.
Buck Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ashley circles away.
Chaz Ashley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forrest Buck Jr.
Buck Jr takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ashley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ashley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A slow jab from Buck Jr misses its intended target.
Buck Jr scores with a one two! Ashley had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Buck Jr counters with a series of strikes. Ashley will be more careful next time no doubt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Buck Jr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ashley's guard.
Oh Ashley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ashley seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ashley has his hands clasped together around Buck Jr's back. He's all about the action.
Buck Jr not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Ashley is staying active underneath Buck Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ashley is looking to control Buck Jr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ashley avoid being mounted?

Buck Jr thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Buck Jr is pressing down on Ashley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ashley is holding on for now.

Ashley tries to roll over but Buck Jr keeps him under control.
Buck Jr is looking for a kimura but Ashley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Buck Jr to get the leverage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ashley works his way to full guard. Good work.
Buck Jr engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Buck Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Buck Jr trying to control but Ashley is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Buck Jr controls from within his opponent's guard.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Forrest Buck Jr dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ashley tries to close the distance and clinch but Buck Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ashley thumps Buck Jr with a low kick.
Buck Jr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ashley scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ashley throws a sloppy head kick and Buck Jr moves out of range easily.
Buck Jr throws a series of punches but Ashley moves out of range.
Ashley rushes Buck Jr and presses him up against the cage.
Ashley effectively controlling the action here.
With the fighters up against the cage, Ashley throws an elbow but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buck Jr wants a takedown.
Ashley tries a knee to the head but Buck Jr blocks it.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Buck Jr as Ashley tries to tie him up.
Buck Jr misses with some punches.
Ashley tries to stall but Buck Jr uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Buck Jr is trying to drag Ashley to the mat but Ashley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ashley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Buck Jr pulls guard.
Buck Jr is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Ashley frees his head nicely. Oh but Buck Jr has switched to an armbar! Ashley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Forrest Buck Jr!
After winning the bout, Forrest Buck Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
