Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christoph Janetzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayhiri Babusar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janetzky comes to the cage accompanied by Escapado - Montgomery Mundtot. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janetzky plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Janetzky tries to clinch there but Babusar circles away.
Janetzky shoots in looking for a takedown but Babusar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Janetzky's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Horrible takedown by Babusar or perhaps it was just good defense by Janetzky which made him look bad.

Janetzky lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Babusar down.
Babusar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Janetzky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Babusar pushes Janetzky away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Janetzky gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Babusar parries the strikes from Janetzky easily there. Janetzky is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Babusar to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Janetzky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Janetzky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Janetzky closes the distance but Babusar moves to the side
and Babusar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Babusar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Janetzky lands a good knee to the midsection. Babusar won't want to take too many of those.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Janetzky.
Babusar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Janetzkys head.
Babusar has Janetzky pushed against the cage.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Janetzky here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Babusar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Babusar tries to circle away but Janetzky has him pinned against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Janetzky looks up at the clock and then as Babusar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Janetzky smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Babusar tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Janetzky wants to control but Babusar is keeping him busy.

An elbow from Janetzky crashes against the mat.
Babusar tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
