Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocco fails with the takedown.
Gonzales looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gonzales slaps away a takedown attempt from Rocco, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rocco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gonzales sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rocco somewhat.
Kily Gonzales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Rocco.
Gonzales shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rocco is trying to defend but Gonzales finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gonzales controlling the pace.

Gonzales stops Rocco from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kily Gonzales just wasn't active enough.
Rocco moves in looking to clinch but Gonzales pushes him off.
Rocco uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Gonzales counters with a shoot takedown. Rocco fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rocco wants to improve his position but instead Gonzales has moved into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gonzales in particular looking to stall.
Gonzales uses his free foot to push down on Rocco's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rocco.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rocco is trying to stand but he's just given Gonzales his back.
Gonzales biding his time, looking for the opening.
Gonzales is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rocco has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Gonzales has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rocco taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Gonzales doesn't care though - he's delighted!
