Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kompakt Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sevak Magakian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Gracie Family Entrada. Magakian has chosen Sevak Magakian Highlights as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Magakian.
Gracie fails to land with a series of punches.
Magakian lands a jab-cross combination.
Gracie misses with a low kick as Magakian jumps back.
Gracie is looking to score with low kicks.
Gracie is looking to land body kicks.
Magakian shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Magakian is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Magakian is aware though and is defending well.

Magakian closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard.
Magakian trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Magakian would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Magakian can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magakian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Magakian defends well.
Magakian not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Magakian slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gracie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sevak Magakian has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Magakian gets a takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Magakian has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gracie defend it? Magakian steps over the head and cranks it - Gracie is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Magakian!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sevak Magakian!
Sevak Magakian decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
