The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
johnson has a takedown stuffed.
johnson tries to clinch but LIGHTS OUT is having none of it.

LIGHTS OUT drives through with a takedown into guard.

LIGHTS OUT darts in and clinches johnson up against the cage.
LIGHTS OUT is pressed up against the cage. johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag LIGHTS OUT down to the mat. LIGHTS OUT avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

LIGHTS OUT shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. LIGHTS OUT showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
