Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Brimstoned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigori Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Brimstoned! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Grigori Rasputin! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brimstoned throws a jab when Rasputin was well out of range. Brimstoned blocks a head kick by Rasputin.
Brimstoned misses with a body shot.
Rasputin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rasputin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rasputin thows a huge punch but Brimstoned dodges it nicely.
Rasputin prevents Brimstoned from improving his position. Rasputin trying to control from half guard but Brimstoned is working away. Brimstoned knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rasputin on the ground. Rasputin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brimstoned defends it well. Brimstoned wants to improve his position but Rasputin is controlling well.
Brimstoned preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brimstoned trying to hold on to Rasputin's head to control him but Rasputin postures up.
Rasputin is trying to work for a kimura but Brimstoned is defending well.
Rasputin thows a huge punch but Brimstoned dodges it nicely.
Rasputin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rasputin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brimstoned is just riding it out for now. Rasputin eventually gives up the hold. Rasputin seems to be working for a kimura but Brimstoned defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasputin wants to stand up but Brimstoned manages to regain full guard. Rasputin is looking to work some ground and pound but Brimstoned has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Brimstoned avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Brimstoned controls Rasputin momentarily but Rasputin frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rasputin trying to control but Brimstoned is working from the bottom. Brimstoned on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brimstoned tries to get out of the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rasputin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rasputin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brimstoned is trying to defend but Rasputin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rasputin looks gassed! Brimstoned is trying to maintain the position but Rasputin is very close to passing his half guard. Rasputin seems to be working for a kimura but Brimstoned defends the submission attempt. Brimstoned trying to hold on to Rasputin's head to control him but Rasputin postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brimstoned is looking for a sweep. Rasputin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brimstoned regains full guard. Nicely done. Rasputin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brimstoned manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rasputin has Brimstoned in his guard. Brimstoned trying to control the position from guard on top but Rasputin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brimstoned lands a couple of digs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brimstoned is stalling in the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grigori Rasputin dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Grigori Rasputin has been cut. Donk. Brimstoned catches Rasputin right on the button with a cross. This has been an exciting period of action! Brimstoned keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brimstoned knocks out Rasputin with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Brimstoned before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Brimstoned picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keith Brimstoned! In his post fight interview, Keith Brimstoned started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
