Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hughs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Foster might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Headstrong(by: Trapt). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Hughs!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hughs thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Foster if he has to take too many more of those.
Hughs throws and low kick but Foster moves out of range easily.
Hughs shoots and misses

so Foster counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Foster looking to pass the guard.
Foster controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hughs controls Foster momentarily but Foster frees himself.
Hughs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Foster is controlling him.
Hughs is trying to keep Foster in close.
Hughs wants to stand and escape but Foster is having none of it.
Foster slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hughs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foster's guard.
Foster lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hughs!

Foster has hold of Hughs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hughs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, George Hughs just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Hughs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
