Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adelphos Typhon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Cekada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Typhon tries to close the distance and clinch but Cekada swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cekada darts in and clinches Typhon up against the ropes.
Typhon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cekada lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Cekada's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Typhon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cekada counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Cekada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cekada closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cekada lands in his opponent's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Typhon holds on and takes a little breather.
Cekada stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Typhon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cekada accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Typhon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cekada has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Typhon is looking to defend but Cekada has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Typhon! Cekada pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Typhon taps out and this one is all over!
