Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Taylor Tibbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tibbs shoots in but Mitchell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tibbs fails with a takedown attempt.
Tibbs fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taylor Tibbs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tibbs dives in and grabs Mitchell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mitchell pushes down on Tibbs's head and hops out.
Tibbs takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mitchell scores with a leg kick.
Tibbs fails with a takedown attempt.
Tibbs is breathing heavily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mitchell.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tibbs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mitchell as he jumps to the side.
Mitchell cracks Tibbs with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Taylor Tibbs has been cut.
Mitchell drops Tibbs with a beautiful combination! Tibbs stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mitchell is looking for the KO!
An inside leg kick lands from Mitchell.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mitchell lands a big head kick that sends Tibbs tumbling to the mat! Mitchell takes a step backwards and waves Tibbs back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tibbs is rocked!
Mitchell cracks the inside of Tibbs's front leg.
Oh Tibbs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tibbs looks up at the clock. Bad move! Mitchell lands a right hand from hell, dropping Tibbs. Mitchell pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Mitchell!
