Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bull Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Derman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bull Dogg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Derman!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dogg.
Derman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Dogg clinches with his opponent.

Dogg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Derman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dogg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dogg misses with the combination.
Derman throws a nice looking combination but Dogg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Derman misses with a jab, cross combination.
No joy there for Dogg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dogg moves into the clinch successfully.
Derman misses with a punch to the body.
Derman swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Dogg breaks from the clinch.
Dogg loads up on a big right hand but Derman slips the punch.
Dogg throws out a loose jab but Derman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dogg gets the takedown into side control.

Dogg stands up and beckons Derman to his feet.

Dogg shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Derman is trying to maintain the position but Dogg is very close to passing his half guard.

Derman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dogg is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dogg in particular looking to stall.
Derman is trying to maintain the position but Dogg is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dogg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Derman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dogg controls the pace.

Dogg looking to sit in guard and control but Derman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dogg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Derman is one step ahead there.
Dogg is looking to stand up but Derman isn't so interested in that idea.
Dogg is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dogg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dogg slows the pace down in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Bull Dogg just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Dogg lands a jab-cross combination.
Derman slips a jab and a cross from Dogg.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Derman.
Nice straight punches there by Dogg. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dogg.

Dogg fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Derman sprawls well initially but Dogg persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Derman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Derman is pressing down on Dogg's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Dogg not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Dogg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Derman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Derman can't do much from the bottom here.
Derman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dogg happy to just control the position for now.
Dogg advances to full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Derman is squirming around, avoiding Dogg's attempts to control the action.
Derman is looking to improve his position but Dogg isn't that keen on the idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Bull Dogg just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Dogg tries to clinch up but Derman circles away and keeps his distance.
Derman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dogg. Dogg obviously looking to wear him down.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Derman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Dogg.


It looks like Mo Derman has been cut.
Dogg throws a right and a left that Derman avoids nicely.
Dogg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Dogg counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Derman!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Derman is controlling Dogg's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Dogg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Derman on the ground.

Derman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dogg's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Dogg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Derman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dogg is controlling the pace.
Dogg is looking to advance position but Derman won't allow it.

Mo Derman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dogg looks to land a combination. Derman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Derman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Derman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dogg controls the pace.

Derman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dogg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dogg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Dogg has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
