Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bilashki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jon Bilashki has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jon Bilashki seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Bilashki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brandon Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Bilashki slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Johnson takes one on the button.


It looks like Brandon Johnson has been cut.
Bilashki misses with the combination.
No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt.

Bilashki drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Bilashki has him pressed against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bilashki has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment.

Bilashki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bilashki avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Brandon Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Bilashki blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bilashki moves into the clinch successfully.

Bilashki breaks from the clinch.
Bilashki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jon Bilashki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Johnson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bilashki throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Bilashki blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Johnson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Jon Bilashki has been cut.
Johnson looks gassed!
Bilashki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bilashki wants it to stay on the feet.
Bilashki shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt.

Bilashki rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.

Bilashki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bilashki shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bilashki tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bilashki lands with a right hand.
Bilashki misses with a series of wild punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bilashki closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.

Bilashki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bilashki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A head kick misses from Johnson.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Bilashki has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bilashki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bilashki scores with a three punch combo!
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.

Bilashki moves into the clinch.

Bilashki pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Johnson throws a strike but Bilashki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bilashki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bilashki stands and steps away. Johnson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bilashki but Bilashki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson misses with a head kick.

Bilashki lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Bilashki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Johnson is rocked!
Bilashki connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Johnson covering up! Bilashki comes in with a big uppercut and Johnson goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jon Bilashki!
A victorious Jon Bilashki thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
