Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Devon Gi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eden Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazard has chosen Twin Victory as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Devon Gi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eden Hazard!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hazard napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Hazard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hazard is not content to let Gi control the position.
Gi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hazard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hazard is looking for a sweep.
Gi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hazard keeps working.
Hazard is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gi's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hazard slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Gi stopping the sweep attempt from Hazard.
Gi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hazard trying to control the position.
Gi wants to control from the top but Hazard keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hazard seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Devon Gi just wasn't active enough.
Gi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hazard on his heels. He'll look to pass Hazard's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hazard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gi wants to stand and escape but Hazard is having none of it.
Hazard passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gi holds on to Hazard's head and controls the position momentarily.

Hazard is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gi is trying to escape and Hazard transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gi is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hazard! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Eden Hazard!
After winning the bout, Eden Hazard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
