The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wollsey lands a body shot.

Shurk avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Shurk throws a shot from downtown. Wollsey moves away and avoids it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wollsey is on top in guard.

Shurk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wollsey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wollsey wants to improve his position but instead Shurk has moved into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wollsey lands with an uppercut that bounces Shurk off the ropes and back into range.
Wollsey throws a front kick aimed at Shurk's knee but Shurk avoids it well.

and Wollsey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shurk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Shurk lands with an uppercut that bounces Wollsey off the ropes and back into range.
Shurk is still on wobbly legs! Can Wollsey finish him?
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wollsey. Shurk shrugs it off though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
